Andrés Caicedo`s work is just started, giving the attention of scholarship for wide discussions, it has enhanced since its humble origin. In these discussions, formal aspects of Caicedo`s work show certain unwariness. The main goal of this paper is to analyze the formal structure of three short stories as kamikaze: “El ideal” (1965), “¿Lulita que no quiere abrir la puerta?” (1969), “Los dientes de caperucita” (1969). In these narratives the author tries to build dramatic schemes, that might be converted in short stories. The risks were immeasurable ambitions for someone at his age and context.
