La poética del cuerpo en la obra de Carmen Cecilia Suárez

En la búsqueda de la posibilidad de enraizar la literatura femenina-feminista en Colombia, Luz Betancourt Aduén, con su tesis Poética del cuerpo en la obra de Carmen Cecilia Suárez, obtuvo su grado como Doctora en Filosofía, en el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Hispano-Brasileras, de la Escuela de Graduados de la Universidad de la ciudad de Nueva York (2013), y ganó el Primer Premio a la Mejor Tesis Doctoral en el mismo año, durante el XVIII Congreso de la Asociación de Colombianistas. La autora dedicó diez años a estudiar la obra Carmen Cecilia Suárez y a indagar múltiples teorías literarias feministas que la impulsarían a lanzar una nueva teoría literaria femenina-feminista. Las portadas de los dos tomos son vinilos sobre lienzo, originales de la pintora plástica Beatriz Salazar Camacho: Según Betancourt, el primero (La poética de cuerpo) simboliza “la poética centrípeta” y el segundo (Un sueño en múltiples dimensiones) la “poética centrífuga”, conceptos fundamentales que hacen parte de las innovaciones de su teoría, junto con otros, como Mujer mariposa, Nueva mujer mariposa, Mujer marrón, Mujer nómada, Mujer efébica, Mujer simulacro y Mujer ciborg, entre otros.
