Decanting of Avant-Garde Literature in Colombia From the Study of the Poem: “Lección de música” by Jairo Aníbal Niño and its Relationship with Concrete Poetry

This article analyzes the poem by Jairo Aníbal Niño: “Lección de música”, published in La alegría de querer (1986), linking it with concrete poetry. For its development, the articles on the presence of the avant-garde in Colombian literature that appeared in Estudios de Literatura Colombiana have been reviewed; also the concepts of Verani, Cobo Borda, Ardila Ariza, among others. Thus, it seeks to establish the relevance of Niño’s poetry in the context of the avant-garde and contemporary Colombian poetry taking into account that only has a place in the canon of children’s literature.
