This article explores contexts of the Colombian politics of the xx century related to a leftish character, Camilo Torres Restrepo, from an exercise of a comparative reading of 9 literary titles published between 1970 and 1990. Fictional narrations about the character are covered from a descriptive point of view. These narrations are put up in literature from three themes: social origins, political positions in the national public life and his shift to the extreme armed and revolutionary left wing.
