¿Compostaje o valorización térmica?

Se muestra cómo la valorización térmica de los desechos orgánicos, provenientes
de las residencias o del mantenimiento de espacios comunales, es mucho
más viable, ambiental y económicamente que el compostaje (o fabricación doméstica
de abono). Ello implica, obviamente que la incineración debe hacerse
en condiciones controladas. Con ejemplos de lo que ocurre en Europa, el autor
argumenta esta afirmación.
