Ethical policy update
Our journal Lecturas de Economía adjusts its ethical policies to incorporate good practices in those research articles that involve human participants.
All research that involves the participation of individuals, or groups of people, must have the validation and approval of said practices by an ethics committee that ensures the application of high ethical standards.
Lecturas de Economía editorial committee will require the authors, prior to the academic peer review and subsequent publication, to attach evidence that allows us to verify that these ethical principles were followed. For more details, the author (s) can consult the following ethical guidelines, to which the journal Lecturas de Economía adheres.
- World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki (1964), last updated in 2013
- Research with potentially vulnerable people (United Kingdom Economic and Social Research Council).
