Ciencia y tecnología para el desarrollo industrial

El desarrollo científico y tecnológico a realizar en la región latinoamericana se enfrentaba a grandes reto futuros. Las políticas y estrategias que se pongan en práctica dependerán no solo de los deseos de quienes desde el Estado las diseñan. Los cambios recientes en el entorno internacional, así como las transformaciones productivas (nuevo paradigma tecnológico) e institucionales (redefinición y reestructuración del Estado) exigen una acción concertada entre los distintos agentes y actores sociales para que las políticas y estrategias en materia tecnológica se traduzcan en mayores niveles de desarrollo.
