THE STRENGTHENING OF THE LOCUTIONSOF PRINT MEDIA IN MEDELLIN: A PRAGMATIC APPROACH

This article presents the locutions description and their pragmatic function inside journalistic discourse of the Medellin’s writing press. It mentions some syntactic and semantic theoretical fundaments; and it analyses locutions from pragmatic view considering the intensification like a communicative production strategy, which implies the expression of the speaker’s intention showing the receiver the influence on him; for that, the text has importantcriterions like quantification, gradation, superlation, scalarity and evaluation.
