Saide: Ensamble de una novela negra

Resumo

RESUMEN El texto busca hacer evidente en la novela Saide de Octavio Escobar Giraldo una tendencia hacia el género negro dentro del campo de la literatura colombiana de los años noventa en el siglo XX. Para ello, se tiene en cuenta tres elementos: el contexto histórico como preocupación entre la denuncia social y la búsqueda del realismo; la relación entre ética-estética-moral que configura un imaginario de la sociedad colombiana; y por último, la literariedad y el juego con el lenguaje.

ABSTRACT This paper evidences the black genre tendency in Octavio Escobar Giraldo’s novel within the Colombian literary field during the last decade of the Twentieth century. Hence, the following three elements are taken into account: the historical context as a concern between social report and the search of realism, the relation between ethicaesthetic- morality structuring the imagery of the Colombian society; and finally, literariness and playing with language.
