Abstract

This text refers to the need of integrate the inputs of the wisdom of the elders "the taitas" on medicinal plants into western medicine, understood as two very-respected traditions and, at the same time, limited. Their confluence will allow filling in the blanks in health care, which affect similarly different groups.
