Art Education from a multiple-literacy perspective: an experience on Teacher Education

Abstract

This article connects the perspective of multiple literacy with the necessity of rethinking the sense and the fundamentals of Art and Visual Culture Education. Besides pointing out some related concepts and strategies, this educative approach presents the experience of formation of a group of pedagogical coordinators at primary schools in Barcelona. This experience leads to a reflection on how to set up a formation process based on practical analysis.
