Abstract

The investigation, as a process and profession, it is less complex than is usually thought. However, a series of myths still prevail against it, which instills fear or rejection in professionals in training and teachers. On the other hand, it is largely underestimated how much of an opportunity it represents, for anyone, to investigate, and the contribution that is made to society when the results of an investigation are published, whatever its results may be. All professionals, during their undergraduate training, should sufficiently develop investigative competence; however, we are still a long way from achieving this goal. By mentioning these aspects, the aim is to contribute to the motivation of young undergraduate students and people who still do not dare to take their first steps towards research
