Level of development of physical and motor skills and anthropometric profile in children between 7 to 13 years old from a sports school

Abstract

Aim: To assess the level of development of physical and motor skills and anthropometric profile in children between 7 to 13 years old from the Búhos of Serramonte Sports School in the municipality of Bello (Colombia). Method: The study is quantitative type, pre-experimental, with explanatory scope (description of a phenomenon studied, measures constructs, defines variables). Results: In tests, strength and endurance capabilities in lower limbs presented the poorest results. Conclusion: The training plan that should be done should focus on improving mainly the resistance and strength abilities in lower limbs that were the tests with poorer results. In addition, the capacities that have a better development should be further enhanced.
