Detección de los polimorfismos de 4 STRS en la región Bola y análisis de su efecto sobre Mastitis clínica Bovina en la raza Holstein

Resumen

En este trabajo se determinó la existencia de asociaciones no espureas entre los polimorfismos de cuatro STRs de la región BoLA (BM1818, CYP21, TALMS113.2 y UWCA1) y la susceptibilidad a mastitis clínica en una población Holstein del departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. La población no se encontró en equilibrio de Hardy-Weinberg para los locus CYP21, TAMLS113.3 y UWCA1. El alelo más frecuente para BM1818 fue 262 (0,527), para TAMLS113.3 fue 162 (0,285), para CYP21 fue 194 (0,269) y para UWCA1 fue 110 (0,317), siendo éste último el más polimórfico de los 4 STRs analizados. Los alelos TAMLS113.3*170 y UWCA1*110, 112 y 116 mostraron efecto significativo (p < 0,05) con la susceptibilidad a mastitis clínica bovina en la población analizada.
