Abstract

The present article delves into the term video art; he tries to trace the springs that move him, the reasons that feed him, the self-confidence with which he rubs shoulders in art rooms with the most ironclad and legendary aesthetics. The screen is the center of a good part of contemporary aesthetic experiences and the pixelated image, put to (con) live with painting, film or television, (re) invents reality or the image itself. Ignore perfection, alter preset canons, and construct various settings, celebrations, and events that are difficult to classify. Anyway, we take a look at these hybrid aesthetics, so recycled, so chaotic, so polluted. The innovative audiovisual works built from the new power: that of the fragment, claim a place in the museum. No longer that of the traditional room, but that of digital information and communication technologies: the media and virtual museum.
