Abstract

The concept of "real time" is a classic term from the environment and the theory of musical technology, behind which and linked to musical improvisation are hidden some paradoxes. In this article, essential aspects of the question are pointed out and criticized, without distorting the value of it is practice. This is to draw attention to the abuses of language that can be incurred when what is named is omitted by making use of simplifying talismanic terms such as "real time" or "creation in runtime", which evoke needs , ineffable and imaginary, whose existence is materialized in the lack of infinity, divinity and transcendence
