Abstract

In this writing we present some of the studies that have approached the teaching of drawing in different institutions, times and countries, in order to analyze and take positions on the perspectives from which it has been approached. The review of previous research allows us certain distances and provides us with elements for a novel analysis of these teachings in the schools of Antioquia, Colombia, between 1892 and 1917, from other perspectives: the history of school values and historical-pedagogical anthropology, what would come to cross our gaze on the sources found for a later analysis.
