Abstract

En aras de la claridad, este artículo discute tres pulsiones cartográficas que, como telón de fondo de los cambios socioeconómicos de la vida cotidiana provocados por la guerra y la globalización, atraviesan los siglos xx y xxi, y caracterizan las prácticas contemporáneas de mapeo artístico. Se trata aquí de clasificaciones libres con numerosas superposiciones, más que de categorías rígidas. Para representar estas pulsiones, se han escogido varios artistas de un campo al que se han afiliado cientos de practicantes durante los últimos cien años.
