Abstract

In the light of the deep relationship existing between performance and knowledge-foundations of a new form of educationwe go through several theories on the brain functioning. We then discuss the recent proposals of cognitive intervention from the point of view of the motor performance, and finally, we point out the reflections achieved after such investigation.

Olga Inés Bedoya Tobón, Docente Universitaria

Estudiante de maestría en Procesos cognitivos y creatividad, especialista de Desarrollo de habilidades de pensamiento y juicio crítico. Profesora de cátedra en el Instituto de educación física de la Universidad de Antioquia, y miembro del grupo de investigación de "Consciencia somática" de la misma universidad.
