Aproximación a dos corrientes de la tradición literaria colombiana

Resumen: En el presente trabajo se establecen relaciones de afinidad y oposición en la literatura colombiana entre los autores del siglo XIX, Jorge Isaacs y José Asunción Silva y Gabriel García Márquez y Álvaro Mutis del siglo XX. A partir de los conceptos de historia y escritura pretende demostrar que es posible hacer una lectura de las obras centrales de la literatura colombiana no sólo en términos temáticos, sino estéticos e ideológicos, al punto de evidenciarse dos variantes de una misma literatura sustentadas a través del carácter crítico propio de la modernidad.

Abstract: This present article establishes relations of affinity and opposition between four Colombian authors of the 19th and 20th centuries: Jorge Isaacs and Gabriel García Márquez, and José Asunción Silva and Álvaro Mutis. Departing from the concepts of history and writing, it pretends to show that a reading of main works of Colombian literature is possible not only in thematically but also aesthetically and ideologically terms, and gives evidences of two alternatives of the same literature supported on the critical character belonging to modernity.
