Nuevas consideraciones sobre los Cuentos Negros de José Asunción Silva

Resumen: En 1996 el autor atribuyó a José Asunción Silva una colección de relatos anónimos o firmados con seudónimo que aparecieron originalmente en el periódico decimonónico El Telegrama. Obedeciendo a una idea de Silva, el autor publicó esos relatos con el título de Cuentos negros. Al atribuírselos a Silva, el autor se fundó en el hecho de que tales relatos corresponden a la estética del Art Nouveau empleada por Silva en textos más conocidos, comparten una atmósfera sombría y romántica como la del "Nocturno", o mencionan similares detalles topográficos o culturales.

Abstract: In 1996, the author attributed to José Asunción Silva a collection of anonymous or pen-named stories originally published in the 19th Century newspaper El Telegrama. Following an idea by Silva, the author published these stories in a volume entitled Cuentos negros. The author argues that they share Art Nouveau elements present in other well-known texts written by Silva, the melancholic and romantic atmosphere similar to Silva's "Nocturno," and other topographic and cultural elements.
