Abstract

Since he touches aspects such as the religious phenomenon, essential to approach an interpretation of human processes as well as of modernity, reading Hegel leads to understand what the philosophical project of modernity is. The reading of Hegel's diagnosis of modemity is made on the base of Karl Barth's reading of the hegelian doctrine whose chief arguments are the self- confidence philosophy and the radical rationalism. Starting from these, they are presented both the reasons why Hegel has been rejected by modemity and sorne ideas about the concept of sin.
