Abstract

This article begins with the analysis of resililence and the anglosaxon, european and latinamerican ways of thinking. Next it analyses the methodical and conceptual differences that could be clarifying when research and intervention in this fruitful area in health care are undertaken. Finally it shows some of the differences between “promotion of health” and “promotion of resilience”, including some researchers´ suggestions for the implementation of the latter and its articulation into feminine health care.
