Efecto de la hidrofobicidad de Ti-MCM-41 en la epoxidación de a-pineno

Abstract

Se evaluó el efecto de la hidrofobicidad de la superficie del catalizador Ti-MCM-41 en la epoxidación de α-pineno, usando peróxido de hidrógeno(H2O2) o terbutilhidroperóxido (TBHP) como agentes oxidantes. Cuando se utiliza TBHP como agente oxidante se logra mayor selectividad hacia el epóxido y con el H2O2 se logra mayor conversión. La sililación con hexametildisilazano (HMDS), conduce a incrementar la selectividad cuando se usa peróxido de hidrógeno, aunque la conversión del α-pineno se disminuye.
