It's a database created by the American Geological Institute in 1966, providing access to the world's geoscience literature. GeoRef is the most comprehensive database in the geosciences and continues to grow by around 100,000 references per year. REDIB

It’s a database of journalistic information that covers the countries of Ibero-America. The database is produced by the Ibero-American University Corporation, a higher education institution based in Colombia.

Biblat
It's a bibliographic database specialized in the field of Law, Social Sciences and Humanities. It focuses on academic and scientific literature produced in Latin America and the Caribbean, although it also includes publications from other places as long as they are focused on the region, in disciplines such as law, sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, and history, among others.

CLASE

It's a tool that provides detailed bibliographic information, including author, title, source, abstract, and citation data, which allows users to identify and locate the original sources of interest. However, CLASE does not offer direct access to the full text of documents, as it is a reference tool for locating and accessing relevant information sources in the field of social sciences and humanities in Latin America.

It’s an online bibliographic and periodical database that provides access to a wide variety of academic and scientific content in Spanish. It focuses on Hispanic literature and is especially oriented towards the disciplines of humanities, social sciences, health sciences, and legal sciences.

ESCI
It's a database of journals that can also be accessed from Web of Science. It was created in 2015 with the aim of indexing journals that are in the process of being evaluated for inclusion in the Web of Knowledge (WoS), or journals that, although they have a recognized scientific quality in their discipline, will never be included in WoS because their field of knowledge is too limited to achieve a sufficiently high Impact Factor.

J-Gate
It’s an open access bibliographic database that provides access to a wide range of academic journals from around the world. The database was created in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, and currently has over 49,000 indexed journals, representing coverage of over 55 million articles.

METADEX
It's the main online resource in the field of metallurgy and provides comprehensive coverage of international literature on the science and technology of metals and alloys. It corresponds to the printed versions: ASM Review of Metal Literature (1966-1986), Metals Abstracts Index (1968-present), Alloys Index (1974-present), Steels Supplement (1983-1984), and Steels Alert (January to June 1985).

It’s an Index of Latin American Scientific Journals whose database offers bibliographic records of original articles, technical reports, case studies, short communications, and other documents published in Latin American and Caribbean journals specialized in all areas of medicine, exact and natural sciences.

Redalyc
It's a bibliographic indexing system that integrates high-quality scientific and editorial journals from the region into its index. After 16 years of providing visibility and supporting the consolidation of journals, it now exclusively integrates those that share the non-profit publishing model to preserve the academic and open nature of scientific communication in the region.

SCIE
Created as Science Citation Index (SCI) in 1964, it is a bibliographic database that collects many of the contributions (articles, editorials, letters, reviews, discussions, etc.) that can be published in science and technology journals indexed by Clarivate Analytics, previously produced by Thomson Reuters. This citation index is also known as ISI because in the beginning the institution that produced the index was the Institute for Scientific Information, Institute for Scientific Information (ISI).

Scopus
It's a bibliographic and abstract database that covers a wide range of academic disciplines. It is considered one of the largest databases of scientific, technical, and medical literature currently available. Scopus is produced by Elsevier and contains millions of records of scientific journal articles, conferences, books, and patents. As such, Scopus provides detailed information on articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, including abstracts, citations, bibliographic references, and impact metrics. Scopus also provides search and analysis tools to help researchers discover and assess scientific literature, track citations, identify trends and collaborators, and assess the impact of research.

SJR
It’s a bibliometric indicator that assesses the importance and prestige of scientific journals based on their impact and visibility in the academic community. SJR is a measure developed by Scimago Lab, a research group affiliated with the University of Granada, Spain. The SJR indicator is based on the PageRank algorithm, used by Google to rank the relevance of web pages in its search results. SJR uses information from the Scopus database to calculate the impact of scientific journals, considering not only the number of citations received by the articles published in a journal, but also the importance of the citations from other high-prestige journals.
