Introducción al concepto de tenacidad a la fractura

Partiendo de algunas consideraciones sobre el fenómeno de fractura frágil se hace una sumarísima presentación de los conceptos de la Mecánica Linea J Elástica de Fractura; seguidamente se desarrolla la idea de los factores de intensidad de esfuenos para llegar a la formulación de la tenacidad de fractura. Se comparan los criterios de diseño basados en la tenacidad de fractura de deformación plana y los que parten de las tensiones de cedencia. Se muestra cómo en muchas aplicaciones es necesario utilizar el diseño basado en la Mecánica de la Fractura.Downloads
