La creación de lenguas y lectoescrituras nuevas: el criollo de San Andrés y Providencia con una mirada hacia el jamaiquino y el haitiano

Resumen

Se examina la idea de «creación de lenguas» y lectoescrituras en lenguas criollas con un enfoque en el criollo de San Andrés y Providencia. El criollo jamaiquino y haitiano se toman como puntos de comparación por su mayor prestigio. La principal fuente de datos la constituyen publicaciones de grupos de Facebook, recogidas entre febrero de 2016 y julio de 2020, así como imágenes de paisajes lingüísticos sanandresanos de 2015. El hallazgo principal es que, debido a un cambio positivo en las actitudes lingüísticas, tanto a nivel local como global, el criollo sanandresano-providenciano está entrando en el dominio de la escritura

Angela Bartens, Universidad de Turku

Doctora en Filología Románica (Lingüística), Universidad Georg August de Göttingen, 1995. Investigadora visitante en el Departamento de Lingüística del Centro de Graduados de la Universidad de la Ciudad de Nueva York, 1996-1997; profesora asistente en el Instituto de Estudios Caribeños, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Sede San Andrés, 1999; profesora interina de Lenguas Iberorrománicas, Universidad de Helsinki, 2001-2006; profesora titular de español en la Universidad de Turku desde 2010/2012. Intereses de investigación: lingüística de contacto, incluidas las lenguas criollas y otras lenguas minoritarias/minorizadas; ideologías lingüísticas, vitalidad y desarrollo; variación y cambio del lenguaje; morfosintaxis española y portuguesa; análisis crítico del discurso.
