Abstract

This paper examines the intonation patterns obtained by tracking television of elliptical and not elliptical interrogative statements in Spanish speakers in Medellin. The results confirm that intonation of the interrogative sentences in partial and total is falling intonation, contrary to the elliptical interrogative that present a rising intonation. This research contributes to an understanding of linguistic diversity of the different cultural groups that make up the national identity.
