Entre la sangre y el simulacro: últimas tendencias en la narrativa policial mexicana

RESUMEN Descripción de una de las más importantes tendencias de la narrativa mexicana actual: el relato de detectives, en el que se reconoce con especial fuerza desde la década del setenta el neopolicial canonizado por Paco Ignacio Taibo II, dominante hasta bien entrados los años noventa y que aún hoy se muestra activo tanto en México D.F –donde se originó– como en las provincias –con especial incidencia en la frontera Norte, que ha conocido la eclosión de esta estética en los últimos uince años. Frente a esta corriente narrativa, deudora del hard boiled estadounidense, en la última década se ha producido la eclosión de la ficción antidetectivesca o, lo que es lo mismo, el antipolicial metafísico heredero de las creaciones borgesianas, con frecuentes tramas basadas en el mundo del libro en las que las nociones de verdad e identidad se muestran escurridizas. Asimismo, se ha producido una notable hibridación de los textos, sobresaliendo los argumentos cercanos al cyberpunk y teñidos de rasgos procedentes del cine, la televisión y el comic.

ABSTRACT This document describes detective stories as one of the most important tendencies of the current Mexican narrative. The new crime fiction, which is considered a strong narrative since the beginning of the seventies, was canonized by Paco Taibo II. It remained a strong narrative until the late nineties and is active today in México F.D. -where it was originated–. It has strong incidence in the provinces, mainly at the Northern border where the manifestation of this aesthetics has been recognized during the last fifteen years. Opposed to this narrative tendency taken from the north American hard boiled is the anti crime fiction born out of Borges creations. Stories are often based in the literary world where the notions of truth and identity as well as hybridization of texts have been produced with outstanding proximities to the cyberpunk and have been tainted with features from the cinema, television and cartoons.
