Abstract

Dental anthropology is a new science in Colombia, its applications in the different branches of medical and archaeological science are relatively unknown in our academic and scientific environment. This article of informative character tries to place and inform the readers on the fundamental elements of the anthropological study of teeth and its relationships with other sciences like Medicine, Dentistry, Archaeology and Biology.
