La formación de entrenadores deportivos más allá de su connotación en el rendimiento

Resumen

La formación de entrenadores, en el contexto de Antioquia-Colombia, se ha centrado principalmente en aspectos profesionalizantes encaminados al rendimiento deportivo, dejando un tanto de lado la función social ampliamente reconocida en el mundo, que también hace parte de estos procesos de formación. Algunos teóricos han resaltado la tarea del entrenador, la cual no se limita a la realización de una conexión entre atleta y metodo, sino también a la interconexiones entre las personas y la vida en general. En esta revisión se abordan algunos conceptos básicos implícitos en la formación de entrenadores deportivos, tales como el de entrenamiento deportivo, más allá de una visión racionalista, el entrenador y su rol en los procesos de formación, la formación de los entrenadores y sus connotaciones en los programas de formación, y finalmente se presentan dos ejemplos de estructuras curriculares que alimentarán la visión del lector en cuanto a la formación de entrenadores deportivos.
