RedNovando: A strategy for the diversification of the processes of the Red de Escuelas de Música de Medellín

Abstract

The Red de Músicas de Medellín is a project of the Undersecretariat of Art and Culture attached to the Secretariat of Citizen Culture of the district of Medellín that throughout its 27 years of existence, as a public Project for the construction of citizen culture, it has impacted more than eighty thousand children, young people and adolescents. Throughout its history, the Red has been characterized as a democratic and diverse project, focusen on constant pedagogical and didactic innovation. The situations produced by the sars-CoV-2 virus renewed the scenario on which the project designs continuous improvement strategies that enrich its training processes, promoting the implementation of RedNovando: Musical Development for Social Transformation for Life. This article supports the investigative and pedagogical nature of the aforementioned strategy and describes the eight different lines of action with which RedNovando understands and integrates the training cycles and processes of a project that today activates 27 schools and serves more than six thousand participants.
