Fue hace algunos años cuando un amigo inglés, impenitente viajero quien considera un viaje entre Medellín y Buenos Aires como algo normal, el que un día me dijo que se había leído He visto la noche de Manuel Zapata Olivella. Y remató en su perfecto español con una expresión que no se me ha olvidado y que fue la motivación para emprender la lectura al instante: “¡Qué cuca de novela, hermano!”.
