Author Biographies

Bruno Borge, Universidad de Buenos Aires / Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Bruno Borge holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. He is an Associate Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). His area of expertise is the metaphysics of science. He has edited the book La ciencia y el mundo inobservable. Discusiones contemporáneas en torno al realismo científico(Eudeba, Argentina, 2020) and is the author, along with Cristian Soto, of Ensayos sobre realismo y estructuralismo científicos(Comares, Spain, 2024).

Leandro Giri, Universidad Nacional Tres de Febrero / Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), Buenos Aires, Argentina

Leandro Giri is a chemical engineer (UTN-FRBA) and holds a Ph.D. in the Epistemology and History of Science (UNTREF). He teaches undergraduate courses at UNTREF, as well as graduate courses in Argentina and abroad. He is Assistant Researcher at CONICET (Argentina). He currently serves as treasurer of Sociedad Argentina de Análisis Filosófico. As part of his work there, he co-directs the FILOCOMPLEX Group, which studies the philosophy of science and complex systems, together with Drs. Hernán Miguel and Miguel Fuentes. His research focuses on the philosophy of science and technology, social studies of science and technology, and science and technology policies.

Angel Rivera-Novoa, Universidad de Antioquia

Angel Rivera-Novoa is an associate professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Antioquia. He is a Philosopher and Doctor in Philosophy from the National University of Colombia. He is a researcher in the group "Knowledge, philosophy, science, history and society" at the University of Antioquia. He is currently president of the Colombian Society of Philosophy. His areas of interest are philosophy of science, philosophy of technology, analytical philosophy and logic.
