studios Políticos is a triannual publication by the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) of the University of Antioquia. Since 1992 it is committed to the diffusion of research articles, review articles, essays and critical reviews that address the possible explanations of contemporary political problems in Colombia, Latin America and elsewhere. This Journal publishes articles by both national and international scholars on Political Science and Social Sciences whose object of knowledge is political phenomena.

To ensure academic quality, this journal uses double blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers and vice versa. The article shall also meet the criteria of relevance, novelty, originality and responsibility, as the ethics principles for Social Science Research.

Estudios Políticos adheres to the movement and practices of Open Access, therefore, its contents are available in revistaestudiospoliticos.udea.edu.co under the license of Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike. In addition, the Journal doesn't have articles processing charges or articles submission charges.
