Editorial Policy

Open Access

Estudios Políticos adheres to the open access movement and practices, its contents are available on the Open Journal System (https://revistas.udea.edu.co/index.php/estudiospoliticos) under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. Additionally, it is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

This journal provides free and immediate access to its content under the principle of free availability of research products to the general public, providing a greater exchange of knowledge and contributing to the building of a global scientific community.

Publication Fees

The Journal does not charge for the submission of articles, for their processing (no APC), nor for reading. It is committed to making the published texts freely available in different open access indexing services (SciELO Colombia, Redalyc, Dialnet, Redib, DOAJ).

The publication costs are assumed by the Vice‑Rectory of Research and Instituto de Estudios Políticos at Universidad de Antioquia.

License to Use

The texts can be distributed, copied, and displayed by third parties as long as appropiate credits are given. No commercial benefit can be obtained, and derivative works must be under the same license terms as the original work. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike.

Long-term Preservation

The journal is committed to the long‑term preservation of its content. To this end, it is part of the PKP Preservation Network and the institutional NAS. Readability of files and their metadata is ensured, promoting interoperability under the OAI‑PMH protocol of open data and open source. Articles are available in HTML, PDF, XML, and E-Pub formats for any device.

Copyright

Authors retain the moral rights to their articles and can archive and disseminate them, citing the source. Estudios Políticos assumes reproduction rights. The material created by the authors can be distributed, copied, and displayed by third parties as long as appropriate credits are given. No commercial benefit can be obtained, and derivative works must be under the same license terms as the original work.
