Abstract

Trichomoniasis is the most widespread sexually transmitted nonviral infection in the world; it causes 30% of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) worldwide. The higher incidence among women is in between 16 to 35 years. It may be asymptomatic which enables greater ease of transmission.  The etiologic agent is the protozoan Trichomona Vaginalis usually transmitted by sexual contact .
