Santander’s autopsy: first autochthonous case of hepatolithiasis

Santander’s autopsy report, dated in 1840, has been published without any regard for the list of errata and controversial interpretations have been made. The necessary corrections are made and gross anatomic diagnoses are proposed along with a comment.
