Although uncommon, iatrogenic vascular injury (IVI) is a serious complication of laparoscopic surgery. We present a case review involving a laceration of the right common iliac artery (RCIA) during an elective laparoscopic gynecological procedure. We provide a detailed account of the diagnostic and therapeutic processes carried out by our team, culminating in a synthesis of recommendations based on the most recent evidence.
