Abstract

Computer programs are being used for teaching and learning of pharmacology and physiology at the University of Antioquia, in Medellín, Colombia. They should be more widely used since they offer clear advantages over traditional systems of teach.ng; they allow direct presentations of models in motion, as well as a more active, interesting and flexible way of learning; besides they can save time and cut costs.
