Abstract

Auditory processing disorders constitute a heterogeneous group of deficit in the process and analysis of the auditory signal, that affect in an important way the learning, the labor and social life of the patient that suffers them. The medical literature recognizes them for few years and even there are questions without resolving with respect to its physiopathology, diagnostic and management. This article intends to make a revision of the recent literature that permit an approach to the diagnosis and management of the patients with this type of pathologies.
