RESUMEN Este artículo presenta una descripción fonética y la verificación espectográfica de fenómenos fónicos de la lengua sáliba, a partir de la observación de listas de palabras de dos comunidades de Orocué y Morichito, en el departamento del Casanare, Colombia. Incluye ola ejemplificación de procesos como la glotalización y la nasalización de vocales, que corroboradas en el análisis espectográfico, solucionan inquietudes fonológicas y sirven como base para una propuesta de alfabeto o escritura práctica de la lengua. ABSTRACT This article presents a phonetic description and the spectrographic analysis of some sound phenomena of the sáliba language, based on observations about word lists from two communities in Orocué and Morichito (Casanare, Colombia). The spectrographic data, which include examples of vocalic glottalization and nasalization, contribute to resolve phonological problems and to improve a proposal for the writing of this language.Downloads
