ABSTRACT
In this text, I will try to show the relation existing between the emergence of the institutional Francophony in the 1960's and the auonomization of the field of the dictionary of Québec with the inclusion of the topolectal marks in the French dictionaries (the Petit Robert, Petit Larousse illustré, Dictionnaire Hatchette, Dictionaire du français vivant, etc). Withi this intention I will go up with the sources of the problematics to the intralectal problematics. Finally, I will explain that, in spite of an essentialist vision of the French language, various actions were undertaken to try to give to the Quebequers metalinguistics tools taking into acount their particularities. The modification of the metalinguistics practices can be compared with the rise of variation practices.
