Modality and Person. Complex Co-operations

By describing three texts from different discursive contexts, this article seeks to demonstrate that there is an implicational path that goes from linguistic constructions that express alletic modality to those that express an epistemic modality, passing by deontic modality. Likewise, this work wishes to show that, by cooperating in a coordinated manner with the marks of person, these modalities produce particular discursive phenomena. Indeed, it is discovered that epistemic, deontic and expressive modalities are commonly associated with the singular and plural first person, while deontic and alletic modalities appear in impersonal constructions.
