Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Author Agreement: Required to fill out, sign, and submit the form titled Author Agreement along with the manuscript. It is acceptable to submit a packet of several independent forms that include the total number of authors (e.g., if authors are at different locations, they can sign separate forms).

  • Title Page: Contains the first page of the manuscript with its title in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Also, it contains the order of the authors and their respective affiliations. The corresponding author and the authors' contributions to the manuscript or to the work carried out.
  • Anonymous Manuscript file: The “Anonymous File Template” contains the manuscript without the author's data.
  • Potential reviewers: To ensure an efficient editorial process, the authors suggest five “Potential Reviewers” that they consider suitable to review the manuscript.

Clinical Cases Reports

Manuscripts should not exceed the following (spaces included): 15.000 characters. Must be written in English.

Book Reviews

Reviews of relevant books in the areas of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, printed during the last two years. Reviews should be written in the same language of the book reviewed. The review may include references.

Please write the following information at the begining of your review:

Title: (title of the book reviewed).

Book by: (name of the author(s) of the book).
