Founded in 1912, Estudios de Derecho is a biannual journal from the School of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Antioquia. It contributes to the debate of ideas on law and politics, and encourages dialog with other disciplines. The Journal prioritizes the publishing of papers resulting from research projects written by national or international authors. Its target audience includes political scientists, lawyers and, in general, any professionals interested in the social areas of knowledge.

This issue seeks to gather contemporary research that revisits, expands, or critically examines the theoretical project initiated by Hans Kelsen and developed by the members of the Vienna School.
