Abstract

This essay refers to the relationships between poverty and fundamental social rights, from Amartya Sen's perspective and some ofthe central categories ofhis study; such as poverty in general, and in particular, the meta-rights, the limitations ofliberties and the deprivation ofrights aswell asfoci of development.
