Doctrine of the national security. Relations between knowing and authority: speech and practices

The Doctrine of the National Security -DNS...:.as development of a foreign theory of communism containment, affected the criminal political handling that the Latin-American States applied in some social manifestations of protest. Colombia was not the exceptionto the process oftransnationalization ofthe social control and embraced the postulates ofthe DNS, among others, in the Security Statute (Decree 1923 of 1978). This article showsthe relations between knowing and authority articulated between the Doctrine ofthe National Security (knowing) and the punitive practices unfolded with its adoption (authority).
