Abstract

This article contributes to understand, in a dialogue with the leaders and wise-men of the Catrú Community (Alto Baudó, Chocó), the difference between out-of-context knowledge in the west and the live knowledge of the forepeoples.

Originario del pueblo Embera Dóbida, del Resguardo Catrú, municipio de Alto Baudó, departamento del Chocó. Estudiante de Derecho de la Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó y miembro del Semillero de Investigación de la Organización Regional Embera Wounaan (OREWA).
