Percepción del vínculo de los estudiantes de medicina de la Universidad de Antioquia con el Hospital Universitario San Vicente de Paúl

En este estudio se reconoce la percepción que el estudiante de medicina tiene acerca de su práctica académica en el Hospital Universitario San Vicente de Paúl (HUSVP) como principal centro de práctica de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Antioquia de la ciudad de Medellín. En forma específica se quiere conocer la actitud que asume el estudiante frente a las prácticas, describir las características del vínculo con el Hospital y explorar su percepción acerca de las relaciones con los pacientes y con el personal asistencial y administrativo del mismo. En la metodología, se realizó un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo y observacional. En el presente artículo se exponen los resultados desde el análisis cuantitativo. Con las conclusiones obtenidas del estudio se invita a la reflexión acerca de la realidad de las prácticas vista desde los estudiantes, con el fin de que los actores directamente responsables busquen el mejoramiento de las condiciones para la formación
de profesionales.
